I've officially been evicted....
from the second floor that is! hahaha
I am no officially back in my own room. At the third floor. Where, when it's hot outside, it's gonna be hot as well inside.
Thank God for airconditioners =)
Thanks to my mom for moving my things up for me. =)
Anyway.
Not much updates the past few days. Work has started for me. Well, training, that is. Im not going to talk too much about it though.
So anyway.
COMMUTE.
I just realized, on my commute back home that...last school year...my ay 07-08.
I never commuted to school! Yey! Hahaha. Or not.
Back then, even though I had like coding on wednesdays, I just find ways to avoid having to commute. Well, it was mostly due to the fact that I was bringing my laptop with me. (Hold on there, I am trying to build up a case here). 190 and 198 reasons
So maybe, I just had 1 or 2 commutes...or...nevermind...the point being is that I rarely rode public transpo. You can actually count it with your fingers.
A HUGE LEAP.
So going to work - HP makati. I am re learning the ways of public commutes. Like the MRT, bus, and jeepneys.
I did try to continue living the way I used to - bringing the car in all - but....it's financial suicide.
Parking fee cost me 145 pesos! Plus talk about the gas spent.
1st day - I got lost. A friend told me that there is a jeepney that travels along ayala ave....And I rode on the wrong jeepney which traveled through buendia. I had to get off at RCBC and walk my way to HP. Thank God I was early.
2nd day - brought the car....I talked to my mom before about...since now I have work, my allowance will have to bloat as well. I told her that I would reserve 500pesos/day for my daily allowance...compared to 250 back in college. Well, if I was bringing a car, that would be the case....and I don't want to have to rely on my parents to carry my burden just because I want to live and work luxuriously. Haha.
3rd day - i rode a jeepney near the ayala station. the ayala loop it said. I was thinking like...Okay....the ayala loop...ayala ave...so....logic would have dictated that it would go through ayala. Hahaha. WRONG. Since the jeep was air conditioned, the windows were tinted. And I missed the place I would needed to get off at (this phrase sounds perverse). So I went off at Greenbelt 3 and walked my way to HP.
------
By now, I was thinking, odds are against me. Maybe I should just bring the car instead.
4th day - I decided to commute since it was monday and all. I was totally shocked when I got to the north station. The line extended till edsa!!!! I was thinking. OMFG. What will happen now? I don't want to be late...blah blah blah. So I tried to ride a taxi. Hirap mag hanap along edsa! SO i had to walk to WEST ave....PUTEK. DESPAIR!!!! This commute has got to end. So I decided (it was already 830 then. I had an ITO onboarding at 10)....to go back home....and took the car to the office instead.
5th day - I was needed at the office by 7....I asked a friend how exactly do I get to HP via MRT. And he told me that I could just ride a bus that goes through ayala. Go down at buendia station...a little walk...and there. Airconditioned bus waiting. Commute problem solved. No more getting lost. hahaha.
So...there....
A change in my way of life.
I think, I will have to just swallow the commute pill no matter how bitter (it still feels now) it is...Walang papayat kung walang hirap.
PS:
I also got the HP laptop. A backpack was given with it. PERO. Ang hirap mag commute with a backpack!!!! Plus mabigat pa and pawis talaga likod mo. So my work around for that problem (PS: mahirap din mag mrt pag punuan - which is usually the case - kasi baka madukutan pa or what...and hassle sa ibang tao kasi bulky) is to buy a shoulder laptop bag.
CRUMPLER! Super comfortable.
PS2:
I make it a point to walk from the office to the MRT station. I want to get fit. =) Or pwede rin because I still don't know how to get there via public transpo =p
PS3:
If the Hp site moves to mckinley - which will. I would most likely bring a car. =)
PS4:
I am not so thrilled with graduation....It's like...How can you be happy when you have already moved on to another chapter.
Would you be happy to learn how to walk if you've already learned how to run? <- hahaha. walang sense. na gusto ko sana meron.
PS5:
I feel so poor. Sana sweldo na...

Foreword
[migrated from livejournal]
I think i'm becoming boring...........(continued at *)
I didnt want to spend my birthday partying.
I just wanted to stay up late (as in i slept about 730 am on my birthday playing DS). Woke up at about 345 pm.
Spent time watching television.
At about 5pm I decided to get ready to go to landmark to get some grocery.
Then met up with norman rose and raffy at trinoma.
Bought dinner pakain for people stopping over at our house.
Bought KK 'donuts' for breakfast.
Then when everyone arrived and settled in at our place
We watched....
EL ORFANATO.... or THE ORPHANAGE.
HAHAHAHAHA! Sobrang nakakatakot! As in sa lebel ng 1408! Although the film is more of a psychological horror than 'gulat' horror.
Grabe! Well, hirap din kami ilipat yung speakers ng desktop ah....to achieve the surround sound effect with subwoofer pa (which reminds me...i better hook it up again)...so since sa kwarto ko naman kami nanuod. hahaha. SIGAW KUNG SIGAW! TILI KUNG TILI! Hahaha! Ang daming beses na nagtitilian sila rose and a.lo at ako napapasigaw na rin pati si raffy and norman. Parang pasahan ng takot...Parang yung game na ipapasa yung bola around and dapat di ka maabutan ng "stop music". Parang ganun. Pasahan ng takot hahaha.
I recommend you people go watch it....IF IT WILL BE SHOWN HERE.
It's a spanish film. we were watching it with subtitles. worth it.
Then di na ako nakatulog dahil...
* (continuation) NOT!
We were waking up early to get to puerto!
By the way, I wanted to do a BORAT with the not joke hahaha. Another film you should go to see. Very very very funny. Not joke funny. But idiotic silliness funny.
Nah, I was just kidding about becoming boring. I know myself well enough not to become something like that.
So....for puerto pics. (go visit my multiply) nakakapagod i kwento kung pwede mag ala photo blog nalang hehehe.
3 days. well...2 nalang pala.
2 days....

moving on....
[migrated from livejournal]
ive been hearing things about people who are working....
THAT THEY GET FAT.
actually, it's not actually just hearing. a lot of people ive seen who were fit back in college have gained a couple or so pounds/kgs.
so...now my body's aching.
hahaha.
last night, since i wanted to avoid that getting fat due to work syndrome...
i decided try getting fit as early as umm. last night.
the solution i thought of....
recall: after 1 years of rotc...and about half sem of commuting...i lost a lot of pounds.
i did some of the work outs we were doing for rotc last night!
hahaha.
and now my neck's a little sore and i think napilayan yung toe ko hahaha. and my body's a little sore as well.
the muscle(s) around my diaphragm area's a little sore. (that should give you a hint)
but....
No pain no gain.
PS: this event(s) -- been doing it for the past 2 nights -- was premeditated hehehe. off to puerto again tomorrow! =p

joy to the world!
WORK:
a little while ago, my mom sponsored my shopping spree to get ready for work. early birthday gift!
before, i was satisfied with what was inside my closet...collared shirts, shirts, long sleeves (na naipon ng naipon dahil sa 190 and 198 na kelangan kasi since group sa undergraduate research project may color coding kaya napapabili tuloy hehehe)...at ngayon naman...since wala akong medyo formal na mga short sleeves (mostly lakwatsa outfit short sleeves)...sabi ko siguro bibili lang ako ng mga tatlo...and may mga dalawa (or tatlo) pa naman ako........eh napasubo...
yan tuloy naging lima hehehe. plus new shoes (pang graduation din daw sabi ni mama....and work shoes)
BOARD REVIEW:
FUTURE GOAL:
hehehe...ang bago kong goal...since tapos na ang goal na grumaduate...earn as much as my brother...in a shorter period time. my brother accomplished it...hmmm...after 8 years? or 9 years...ang goal/dream ko....hopefully magkatotoo...is to make it in like 5 or 6 years.
right now, monthly my brother is earning 7 times as much as i would be earning...so...since materialistic ako....kelangan nga siguro mga ganun din kitain ko hehehe. plus...if i was earning that much...i would be spending it on family vacations! there are a lot of places i wish to visit and wish to revisit....
well, hopefully that goal will be as easily realizable than (ahem ahem - hahaha "the point is ive graduated")...supportive family is the key!
let's volt in! haha

Time has a way of healing, so they say
So why am I still left here cryin'
Caught in these ways of emotion as people stare
I find there's no real place for me to hide
Well I've been trying in vain
Was only fooling myself
With each passing day
The pain still stays the same
_______________________________________
the important thing is that I've made it.
5 long grueling years.
Everything is finally over.
Thank You for everyone who has been there for me.
A big thank you to everyone who I have gotten to know.
And, no, this is not some sort of eulogy.
Finished.
That's what has been.
Next chapter please.
The next important thing is that I have tried my best
I was never really expecting anything.
Just hoping everything falls into its proper place
College is finally over. =)
