pre-christmas extravaganza

my brother arrived last wednesday - nov 29.
nov 29. hahaha it was the same day that i presented in irc my ieee report. and man oh man. im telling you(!) that report was the report i crammed the most. i only did the powerpoint presentation an hour before and finished it minutes before reporting. well, you can blame everything on my obsessive compulsiveness. i put my report in some document, did some notes, and eventually dozed off. i was even considering presenting the actual paper in pdf! hahaha.

that same evening, my brother arrived here in the philippines. - there was no traffic. thank God. and then we ate at some korean restaurant near UA&P. we happened upon it by accident. the edsa traffic was so heavy that we just decided to eat someplace close by...and...the thing is...it was already quarter to 10 or i think mga ten na nga ata yun. hahaha...grabe! authentic korean restaurant nga. they even brought out coals and like barbeque-d the beef and pork we ordered in front of us. parang taco style of eating yung way pala...may mga side dishes or whatever na kasama na serve and you can modify the meal according to however you want to eat it. grabe - busog...then we ordered some starbucks - heheheh extravagant diba. and nanay ko pa nagvolunteer.

NOTE TO SELF:
(*) pag nagtatrabaho na ako, siguro mas magiging maluho pa yung pamilya ko hehehe. imagine, kasi yung mom ko kaya lang naman ata siya nag treat ng ganun dahil alam niya na gusto ng kapatid ko ng starbucks frap etc...kaya ako naman during that time, inabuso ko and suggested drinking there hehehe...more on this exceptional observation on my mom's behavior later.

nov 30-dec1
we were supposed to get prepped up for the ece conference that thursday - i didnt have any class so i had my hesistation of going to school...so i didnt. buti nalang din kasi napostpone naman din pala yung conference na presentation naman supposedly on dec1 to dec8. oh well, more free time for me then. so i just spent the days playing dota and just unwinding....

and dumating nga pala relatives namin friday evening =) they brought a dog with them hehehe...mataray. hehehe gusto niya siya yung sumasampa sa aso namin pero babae naman...then pag yung si gringo na...magagalit at tatahulan si gringo hheeheheh...

gringo's birthday! gringo's our dog you see...and my mom is just head over heels sort of loving our dog...gringo is turning out to be a younger brother hahahah...well...mas expensive nga lang. so since it was his birthday, we decided to have him groomed. and so...para bago naman at nagsasawa na kami sa tiendesitas...sa greenhills kami nag punta. ayun...grabe that saturday was so traffic! napagod ako ah. mga 1hour plus plus minutes akong nagdadrive sa edsa. tanga ko kasi dapat nag katipunan nalang then santolan. so much better. ayun. gringo had himself groomed...for the price of 600pesos! mahal diba. pero worth it naman kasi yung gratification na nabibigay niya sa mom ko malaki laki na rin. gringo you see makes up for my "absence" at home. parati kasi akong nasa up kaya ayun hehehe...siya ang pumapalit sa role ko sa bahay pag mama ko lang nandun. =)

grabe rin pala nung saturday na yun. christmas na christmas na. bumili kasi kapatid ko ng 40 dvd-r and...nakita ko yung flash disk and...naalala ko...nun pa nga pala ako tsumetsempo sa nanay ko magpabili ng flash disk...and...heheheh ang daming computer shop so i took the opportunity to ask my mom to get me my very own flash disk. i actually have an mp3 (creative zen) that could double as a flash disk pero kasi female siya so kelangan ko pa magdala ng female-male converter sort of na wire. so ayun..then bibili pala ng magic sing mom ko for my sister in guam - sort of my mom's christmas gift for my sister there...then...nakita ko superman and davinci code dvd...two movies i have not yet seen! hahaha...dati kasi wala akong makitang pirated...so i took the opportunity to ask my mom to buy it for me. - i even hitned, magustuhan ni papa yang dvd.

000---and so i have those dvd! then we ate at terriyaki boy and saw baron geisler who my mom mistook for ara mina's boyfriend - i forgot his name. then we went and fetched gringo hehehe...nilagyan ba naman ng ribbons sa tenga! hahaha...

oh my brother and i tested the magic sing --- i suck. ---more practice needed. i also need to expand my song vocabulary hanggang mga 70s. para classic mga kinakanta ko and tamang tono kasi familiar na ako sa kanta

did nothing for this day except compile the contacts for marketing...ayun...i also watched nga pala superman - ang astig pero parang ang haba ng oras pero naiksian ako. gets niyo yun?

-ayun nga rin pala. binilihan ako ng kapatid ko ng harry potter dvd na goblet of fire...so kumpleto ko na so far yung harry potter dvds!

and my brother also bought me and my laptop a cordless mouse! hehehe...dapat bluetooth mouse sana pero he wasnt able to find any....ang astig naman eh! hehehe i didnt know double A batteries could last for 1 year...well...the package for my mouse says they would...and i am hoping that they would....ay correction...i already know pala pero nalimot ko lang. naalala ko lang kasi bigla yung remote controllers ahhaha...tanga tanga...

grabe....classes na naman! after 5 days! hahaha...it just hit me. technically dapat 3 days lang ako may pasok...pero maging 4 na ulit dahil yung ee275 change sked na naman...and basta ang point ko...what hit me was that...yung sked ko sobrang luwag to the point na parang nagbabakasyon ako habang may classes...i hope walang negative effect yung sked ko ngayon sa performance, if anything, it should better my academic performance...oh...

for december 5 more classes. starts 7am - ends by 530


AND SO...
meron na lang akong 20days here in the philippines and i am off!! yes! naeexcite na ako...engg week na!!!!! wooohooo!!! hehehe...naexcite bigla....so...after ng engg week...i need to plan some party with my friends so that before i head to hongkong, dami akong baong great memories...
